Customer Experience
Digital Asset Management

Vector wanted to improve the customer experience for new connection clients to try and make estimating quicker, easier, and more flexible, as well as reducing the cost of providing estimates.

Solution

TESTntel integrated all the complex GIS information, business criteria, and data involved in Vector’s estimation process, to create a simple automated tool. This tool allowed customers to get a quote by simply typing their address and selecting the location on their property where they required a connection. The tool’s mobile responsive capabilities also allowed estimates to be created in the field. Average response times were reduced from several days to seconds, and calls to the call center were reduced by 90%.

ASB Bank was in the process of launching an innovative new product offering significant savings to its corporate customers. The ASB Corporate Sales team required a sales tool that would allow them to calculate and present the potential savings offered by the product. The solution needed to work off-line and also on customers’ own hardware when required.

Solution

TESTntel developed an engaging, responsive mobile application using hybrid technology. This allowed the sales tool to be used from any web browser, as well as using native iOS capabilities so it could be used offline. It captured user data and synchronized it when an Internet connection became available. The tool successfully passed ASB’s stringent security audits without any hurdles.

Future-Proof Building

The Future-Proof Building (FPB) initiative aims to build better homes for New Zealanders. A group of innovative companies, all involved in homemaking and building came together to offer better choices at every stage of the process. They were looking for a better showroom registration process. We gave them a lot more. Capturing registrations was done manually: slow, inconvenient and it missed some people. A digital system made sense, but show homes didn’t always have internet, let alone reliable WiFi coverage. We spotted the opportunity not just to improve the registration process but to add a whole other dimension.

TESTntel built an iPad application to capture customer details and deliver synchronized product information.

After entering their details, customers could wander the showrooms with an iPad. Product information was pre-loaded and QR codes brought up rich information on products. At the tour’s end, they receive a link to a virtual tour and are later emailed a personalized brochure. The iPad worked on- or off-line and all data was collected when an internet connection was re-established. CMS allowed showroom staff to instantly update products. More efficiency that delivers a customer-experience ‘wow!’

Not only did the FPB App solve the data capture issue, but it also allowed potential customers to interact with the products they were interested in. They learned more about the products, more about the FPB initiative, and stayed in touch with FPB and its partners. It established a dialogue with visitors, based on personally relevant information.
